Summary
“I would love to go on a date with you, Izuku,” Shoto states clearly, ignoring the heads that turn towards him. As the current Number 2 hero, he has no desire to surpass Lemillion, so the date being something good for press has no meaning to him. He’s just taking the offer of a dream come true for him.
“See! See I told you!!” Kaminari yells from the booth Jiro coaxed him to, who is now shushing him.
“Now, is it really ethical to try and fool the public just for good press?” Iida chimes in. His eyes meet Shoto’s with a knowing stare - Shoto has called the Turbo Hero on more than one occasion when trying to sort out his feelings for Izuku. “Perhaps you two should think this over more, maybe when you haven’t been drinking?” Iida turns to Deku, who shakes his head.
“N-No, if Todoroki says he wants to… I don’t see why not.” Emerald eyes finally meet his own, and Shoto is too distracted to stop the blush on his ears.
