“We know that, but— he has the mark of the goddess on his hand,” Urbosa snapped. “The rest of us saw it. If you don’t believe it, you can see for yourself.”
The Rito didn’t even deign to give the unconscious swordsman a glance.
“Hero or not, we’re not letting him off the hook just like that,” Revali’s voice climbed an octave. “He’s too dangerous— we saw what he’s capable of. We have to kill him while he’s still weakened!”
“We aren’t killing him,” Zelda asserted again. This time, she lifted her eyes. Her voice held a note of cautiousness, but it was still unshakeable.
“If we’re to even hope to defeat the Demon King, we need the hero on our side. We have to take him with us.”
In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.

Once upon a time, there were two neighboring kingdoms. For a time they were peaceful allies, the ruling magical families friendly and cordial. The Western Kingdom was home to King David and Queen Snow White and their children Emma and Neal. The happiest of families and champions of True Love, they were beloved by their subjects and their kingdom was prosperous. The Eastern Kingdom was home to King Brennan and his wife Queen Cora, and their children Liam, Killian, and Regina. It was a stable and prosperous kingdom as well, though it lacked the happiness of the West. Rumors had always followed the Eastern Queen – tales of dark magic and cruelty from her past.
But it wasn’t until the King’s passing that the Eastern Kingdom tumbled into darkness as the Queen took power, and the rumors proved to be truths.
