This one focuses way less on CHIM and is less lore-centric than its sequel. Basically it has only a little convoluted bullshit and lots of feelies.
edit: I wrote this when I was in high school and therefore I find it hella cringe and considered deleting it. I decided to leave it up, though, as people still seem to be responding positively to it and the other Vivec fic I wrote. I likely won't be responding to any comments, requests, etc, though.
