Bitty can just make out Jack arching an eyebrow in his general direction. “Yeah, bud. That was, like, five hours ago.”
“Yeah, well,” Bitty is tracing random patterns on Jack’s arm, “I still think that was just about the sweetest thing I ever heard, but I’m starting to go a little stir crazy, and if I don’t get up off of this couch soon I might actually - I don’t know - spontaneously combust of something.”

Summary
Jack sits reclined on the couch, looking the very image of comfort and coziness. The light coming through the window is muted from the heavy snowfall outside, it sets a completely serene and gentle scene - Bitty should probably stop wasting time. He should grab that giant quilt and snuggle up as close as possible with that big warm boy.
This can definitely just be some stand-alone fluff, but I imagine that it happens not long after the events of the previous ficlet I posted. So I linked them together as a series.

Jack’s not sure when he stopped paying attention to what's happening on the tv. Bitty is engrossed in the baking competition playing out before him. Jack is engrossed in the way that Bitty absentmindedly plays with Jack’s hand, occasionally bringing it the short distance to his lips to place an equally absentminded featherlight kiss on his knuckles.
