Summary
Everybody knows not to approach the lonely cottage on the outskirts of the town, unless they wish to suffer a premature death at the hands of god-knows-what creature lives there. Senku has more pressing issues to attend to than the possibility of losing his life.

“I wasn't aware that vampires needed to breathe. Doesn't it kind of defeat the point of being dead?”
His question was met with a short laugh. “You could be on the doors of death any moment now, and that's what you're wondering about?” The increase of the pressure on his neck might as well have been imperceptible, but it was there. A warning, then. “Aren't you scared?” Again, the sweet tone completely contradicted the uttered words.
‘Hah, I'm digging my own grave.’
Or, in search of an unknown cure, Senku comes upon a vampire.
