Summary
There is not a trigedasleng word for dildo. The first time she got Noki, the glassblower, to make her one, he didn’t know what he was making. Now he adds ribs to them, makes dual pleasure ones, adjusts their base to fit harnesses Raven gets from a leatherworker down the road. Raven goes to Polis about once every two weeks, and everyone, grounder and sky person alike, appreciates it.

Summary
It’s supposed to be a girls’ weekend. Kara’s best friends are guys, and Alex thinks she needs to get away from them sometimes, get drowned in estrogen and supportive female friendships. They do girls’ weekends once or twice a year, usually. This is supposed to be the first one Maggie comes to.
And Maggie is there, it’s just that no one else is.
Alex and Maggie were the first to make it to the cabin they rented in the mountains, and there was already four inches of snow on the ground when they arrived, with more falling fast.

Summary
Alex sleeps on it, and decides she and Kara didn’t talk enough. Kara split a cupcake with her and then acted like things were okay— things are never okay if Kara shares food that easily. As much as it pains Alex to think, the White Martian version of herself was right; they really haven’t been communicating well.
The next morning, Alex gets a dozen donuts, plus a pizza, because Kara will eat pizza regardless of time of day, and goes to Kara’s.
