Summary
V doesn’t trust people anymore. Probably never did. He was never good at being soft, vulnerable. Didn’t work out last time.
Now he’s left with a mess - ghosts in his head (one of them particularly loud), most words stuck in his throat, and a habit of pushing people away just to see if they come back.
Kerry comes back.
And maybe that’s the problem.This isn’t love. It’s not even healing. It’s two fucked-up people trying to tear each other apart - instead of the ones who left them like this.
But hey, at least it’s real.
