Summary
You were born completely deaf. You never were able to learn how to read lips and found your hearing aids uncomfortable many times — that's why, on your venture for coffee, you find yourself overwhelmed (to the point of escape) when you are being spoken to by a (very pretty) woman who you cannot understand.
For months, Wanda has been building the courage to talk to you, a regular at the coffee shop she works at. When she finally gets the opportunity, she goes for it. However, as she's talking to you, you walk away without any notice.
You return that same week, ready for the hateful confrontation that might take place. Fortunately, that "hateful" confrontation does not happen.
