It's the heat, the heat, he convinces himself again.
He presses his tongue flat against the column of Kei's throat and moans as salt catches on his tastebuds. In an instant, the feeling of 'not enough' sinks into his brain. His gums itch and his teeth ache to bite into the plush flesh, to see marks scattered across such easily bruised skin. His incisors only begin to graze Kei's collarbone when the noise pouring out of Kei's mouth stops Tadashi dead in his tracks. Kei's blush deepens as they hold each other's stare.
The A/C in Tadashi and Kei's apartment breaks. Rationality flies out the window.

Tadashi broke the silence, "why are you doing this?"
The sudden inquiry startled Kei enough for him to start drawing his hand back, but Tadashi grabbed onto Kei's wrist to keep him from withdrawing any further. Tears pricked at the back of Tadashi's eyes, and he did his best to blink away the pain.
"It's warm here," Kei answered. The words 'with you' went unspoken.
