Summary
She's confused. She’s worried. And she misses her. Seulgi misses Yoo Jaeyi something terribly.
As if Jaeyi’s been listening in, Seulgi’s phone glows alight with a notification.
It's an Instagram story, from Jaeyi. A simple picture of her bedroom wall with a song in the background. There's no caption, no emoji, not even song lyrics to describe her mood, but there are only two people in the world who understand the significance of a Lucid Fall song, and one of them is dead.
Seulgi hurriedly excuses herself for the rest of the day, even the teachers are looking at her like her own family died, and sprints to the nearest bus station.
She won't keep Jaeyi waiting. Never again.

Summary
As the tea steeps, Beatrice sees the steam shift - like a breeze, like a curious sniff. Beatrice pours out two cups but the second stays on the counter (for the best since, just this week alone, Beatrice has had to replace a total of three teacups). She tries not to think too hard about it, turns away slightly so it’s just out of her line of sight. Though, she doesn’t know which is easier to swallow: the sight of the tea that Ava still cannot drink or the emptiness that greets her whenever she turns her head, the knowledge that Ava is back but not here. Not completely, not yet.
or: on touch and waiting and wanting
or or: Ava comes back invisible

Summary
Yoo Jaeyi is a top-tier lawyer at her father’s firm, raising her four-year-old niece and juggling wedding prep duties for her best friend. Woo Seulgi is her opposite in every way — quiet, rigid, a rival from another firm with a sharp mind and colder gaze.
They’ve been thrown together to help plan a wedding. They disagree on everything. And unfortunately, they’ve promised to keep showing up.
Between vendor meetings, florist battles, and the chaos of one very observant child, their reluctant partnership starts to shift. Slowly. Unexpectedly.
Love wasn't in the brief. But neither of them are good at backing down.

Summary
Kyung just needs a study partner—someone to run lines with, test her arguments, and help her prepare for her mock trial. Yeri just wants an audience—someone to listen, to watch, to be caught in the gravity of her performance. That’s all this is.
Or at least, that’s what they tell themselves.
