Summary
Saejima experiences a lot of surprises in his time back from prison, round about 25 years worth of them, maybe more. One day, though, Majima passes him a box filled with years worth of his personal memories, and Saejima has to piece together how to understand gender with his 1985 old man brain. Really, this kind of thing should have been obvious from the way he painted his sister's nails, the way he'd steal her old, used magazines, and stare too long into shopping windows, but cut him some slack, it was the 80s and he didn't have all this new (useless) wisdom he has now.
