Summary
Holly and Mike sit next to each other on a bench in her school, her mom talking to the counselor a room over. Her teacher and her parents and her counselor all think she’s crazy, but she doesn’t understand why. You can’t really see an imaginary friend- you can pretend to and act like it’s real, but it never will be. Mr. Whatsit is real. She sees him at school, at parks, everywhere. He isn’t dangerous- he’s kind and respectful. He doesn’t treat Holly like she’s a baby, and she isn’t a baby, not anymore; of course she talks to him.
Even if other people can’t see Mr. Whatsit, he’s real. And he’s protecting her.
Stranger Things 5, but things take a different turn after Will sees through the Demogorgon.

Summary
Sometimes, he wonders why it had to happen on his birthday. Why he couldn't have waited to ask about his mother for just another day, or week, or month. Why his dad hadn't stopped to read the calendar, hadn't offered him the simplest gift of not getting wasted on his son's birthday.
And sometimes, he wonders why he's the one that has to deal with this; why is he the one to shoulder the pain of multiple people, to cry over a lost life that isn't even gone yet? He'll never know, and that's why he keeps it to himself. He doesn't complain. He just thinks.
