“Well, uh” he starts, looking down at Viktor’s leg between his hands. Whatever, he thinks. He’s never been a good liar. “I don’t mind touching.”
“Touching….” Viktor hums. He quirks one eyebrow. “Touching me?”
Jayce’s hands freeze on the spot they were massaging. There’s a little chuckle from Viktor.
“Forgive me, that was weird to ask.”

“You should have come to me,” Jayce says. He’s terse, but he’s looking straight at Viktor; he’s not put off by the monster Viktor feels he’s become. “Why wouldn’t you come to me first? You know I’ve been through it.”
“We are not what we once were, Jayce.”
Jayce scoffs. “And whose fault is that?”
“Yours, mostly.”
Jayce explodes, like he’s been holding onto the phrase for too long: “You broke up with me!”
