“You ever sucked dick?” Matt asks, like it’s nothing, like he’s asking what dorm Buck’s in or if he wants another drink.
He blinks. “What?”
“It’s a simple question, dude. Have you ever sucked dick?”
His face flushes hot. “I mean, uh—no? I’ve had my dick sucked. I’ve eaten a lot of pussy. But I, y’know... like girls.”
“Sure,” Matt says, voice smooth as anything. He tilts his head, eyes dragging over him like he’s seeing something no one else has. “But would you try it? To earn your place? Everyone’s done it. Sometimes you just gotta help a bro out. It’s not gay.”
Buck swallows hard. His mouth feels dry. He doesn’t know if it’s the way Matt’s looking at him or the idea itself—or maybe how not-outraged he feels. There’s a twist in his gut that isn’t quite dread.
