Summary
[ Aftershock was one of the largest events in live music, by far one of the largest festivals of the summer as it traveled across the United States. The tour was so prevalent, in fact, that it had the power to make or break a band’s career, whether it be through notoriety or the influence of such a dedicated fan base. Performing at Aftershock even for just one day opened up so many doors for bands, introducing them to an endless list of music industry connections. It really was that big of a deal. ]
“You wouldn’t even have to be the official replacement. We just need coverage for Aftershock, and after that, you can walk. I know what I’m asking isn’t fair and it’s not easy for you either, but please Izuku— you’re our last hope for this to work.”
He sighed, tension both releasing and building in his body. He already knew once Ochako had asked what his answer would be, but those last words solidified his answer.
“Fine, I’ll do it. But you owe me, Ochako.”
