Will Solace loved being a healer.
“Her heart rate is dropping. Someone get Will!”
Being on the front lines of battle wasn’t really his style. Too much violence. Too much death. And there was nothing Will hated more than death.
“She’s in critical condition. We need more gauze to stop the bleeding. And where the hell is Will?!”
Will told himself this at least once a day. Being a healer gave him a purpose. He could be a force for good, for regeneration instead of destruction. He was his father’s son, meant to bring light and life into this world. It was a noble purpose, and he loved doing it.
“WILL!”

In the wake of the battle against Gaea, Will is working overtime in the infirmary. As per usual, he doesn't have a whole lot of time to process his emotions. And honestly, why would he? As long as he can keep helping people, Will is absolutely perfectly fine.
Until someone dies on his watch.
Will's emotions rear their ugly heads and overwhelm him, unlocking a new, dangerous power along the way.
Surprisingly, it's Nico who is able to help Will, for once (and Will is entirely unsure how to cope with that).Bookmarked by lucarios
