Summary
“I want to understand why I find you attractive,” Chisaki answers, so simply and plainly it makes a laugh rumble in Dabi’s chest. “Of all people.”
“That been botherin’ you?” Dabi asks, and grins when Chisaki shushes him and holds his hands behind his back to continue studying him.

Summary
Dabi has a reputation in the hospital – hell, in the whole country – for being the god of plastics. Patients fly in from all around the world just to be seen by him, yet he refuses to start his own private practice. At least not yet.
On the other end of the spectrum, his coworkers hate him. They hate his overly sober character, his narcissism and perfectionism, his domineering behaviour, and basically everything else about him; although, they can’t help but admire how he always gets the job done quickly and with no complaints.
No one really understands why he chooses to work at a teaching hospital, or why he even accepts interns. He’s not particular kind to the fledglings, although there’s no doubt that he’s a good teacher.
One year he finally meets his match. He gets an intern that isn’t too afraid to talk back to him or ask dumb questions. One that never makes his patients unhappy, while simultaneously pissing him off in every way with his snarky, wiseass attitude and salacious disposition. This man is Keigo Takami – aka Hawks.

Summary
people like them, people with blood on their hands and violence at their fingertips, dragging sins and pain and a bodycount behind their backs, they cannot know what love is. they do not have the right to know it. not beyond an abstract concept.
kai sometimes convinces himself that he has no interest in fighting against this simple truth.
dabi is a fool for thinking otherwise.
