Summary

Denji dies after having eaten Makima to become one with her and expects oblivion. Instead, he awakens, small, wordless in a world he is not familiar with and should not exist in.
A fog clouds his memories, letting only pieces slip through one by one: blood on his hands, screams that never stop, the sound of a chainsaw tearing through muliple flesh. None of it makes sense in this new life, nor does it ever make him belong.
No matter where he turns, misery trails behind him as if cursed for eternity, cursed to not be able to outrun the fate carved into his skin in blood—not in this life, not in any.
