“When you spend your life chasing killers… what do you do when the trail leads back to you?”
Acheron Korinthal is a seasoned detective haunted by more than just unsolved crimes. When Senator Laius Nytheron is found brutally murdered on his estate, Acheron is assigned to the case. What begins as a high-profile case quickly unravels into something far more personal and far more disturbing.
As distorted surveillance footage surfaces, and his own memories begin to fracture, Acheron finds himself drawn back to the elegant yet hollow halls of the Nytheron estate and to the enigmatic widow, Jocasta Nytheron. With every interview, every shared cup of tea, their connection deepens, even as reality frays at the edges.
But the truth is far worse. Buried in sealed records and hidden family histories lies a name he was never meant to remember. As his sense of self begins to fracture, Acheron must confront a devastating question:
What if the killer he’s been hunting is the man in the mirror?
