    There are many aspects to Nico’s life that he’s not proud of. Somehow being the inspiration behind, and current leader of, a pegging contest is the most recent of them.

    “I don’t even get pegged,” he squawks as Percy tries to crown him with a cheap piece of gold plastic. It’s inlaid with dull red pieces of plastic, for that extra quality. Jason blocks the cabin door when Nico tries to dash for it.

    “Well, ‘Pegging Competition’ sounds better than ‘Anal Competition’, alright? Always a critic,” Leo says from the floor, rolling his eyes like Nico is the unreasonable one here.

    Nico rues the day Percy arrived back at camp for summer break.
