Summary
What is Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian had realized their feelings faster? The many scenarios I believe would have been a good chance to confess!
Being expelled from that place, hands tied together was not at all graceful.
“Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian had shouted, losing his balance. He landed on top of Lan Wangji. “Lan Zhan I didn’t mean to!” he continued. Lan Wangji looked up at him. He had never had someone’s face so close to him.
He looked down at their intertwined arms, his forehead ribbon. He suddenly felt very naked in front of Wei Wuxian. No one had ever seen him without it, and certainly no one had ever touched it. Not only that, but he could feel most of Wei Wuxian’s weight on top of himself and he suddenly felt very hot, despite being wet from the cold spring.

He could still hear the end of the argument he found them in. It was their raised voices that made him walk faster than usual to where he presumed they were. Wei Ying’s voice seemed to get quieter the louder his uncle spoke, almost fit for reprimanding when considering his volume
He had expected Wei Ying to at the very least say something to retaliate, but the other just respectfully made his leave in silence.
