Summary
The hall suddenly quiets down at the sound of several footsteps coming closer at a steady pace. Lan Wangji watches the entrance, and tries to ignore the tremble of his heart when his eyes see Wei Ying walking into the hall. Whatever excitement he feels, however, is quickly squashed as he takes in the expression of absolute fury on his beloved’s face. Wei Ying is carrying a quiet, but obviously upset, a-Yuan on his hip, and Wen Ning is following closely behind. A few steps behind, Jin Zixuan is grim-faced and pushing a furious Jin Zixun in front of him. Lan Wangji is sure his minor headache will turn major before whatever spectacle is about to happen is over.
Or, how bringing a-Yuan to Jin Ling's one month celebration leads to things getting revealed, and a whole bunch of lives being saved. (And Wei Ying gets the time to realize going to Gusu might be good, actually)

Summary
Alternate universe where Jin sect kidnaps Wen Yuan from Yilling. Cue protective Lan Wangji.
Jin Guangshan scoffed, a sneer twisting his features. "Hanguang-jun, we have the records. The boy was taken from Qishan. Who else could he possibly belong to?"
Lan Wangji’s grip on the child tightened. His golden eyes locked onto the Jin Sect Leader, unblinking, devoid of fear.
"He belongs to me," Lan Wangji stated.
A collective, sharp intake of breath echoed through Koi Tower. Lan Qiren stood up so fast his chair screeched against the floor. "Wangji! Think carefully before you speak!"
"I have thought," Lan Wangji replied, his voice entirely steady. He looked directly at his uncle. "A-Yuan is my son. Born of a secret union. His blood is my blood." “With Wei Ying”
Or Lan Wangji sees Wei Ying being a baby momma and says I’ll be the dad and the husband.

Summary
Wei Ying peeks out from behind the wall, ready to make his presence known when Lan Zhan’s voice reaches his ears.
“There is nothing to talk about” Lan Zhan’s tone is difficult to discern when he says those words. A dread starts to climb up Wei Ying's heart, making it difficult to breathe. There is something wrong with the tone of Lan Zhan's voice. He does not know what yet but it does nothing to calm Wei Ying.
And then, with only one sentence, Wei Ying’s entire world comes crashing down.
“I do not want what he wishes for”
Or: wei ying spends his heat with his best friend alpha lan zhan and gets pregnant. when wei ying finds out, he rushes to share the news with lan zhan. but when he gets there, he hears lan zhan say the words that changes everything between them.

Wei Wuxian is an eccentric. A red ribbon around long, black hair, a plaid school skirt clashing against his oversized jeans jacket, accidental splatters of multi-colored paint, and a few rips and fades here and there. No one really knows who he is or where he came from, so naturally, people have a lot to say about him–– he smiles through the gossip anyway.
Lan Wangji is a wallflower. Crisp uniform neatly pressed, looking brand new every day; round, black-rimmed glasses and perfectly polished shoes. He has a tendency to remind other students of the rules, every teacher's most favored student and the council secretary, so it's no wonder that people would avoid him–– he won't ever admit it if he's lonely.
One day, they would find each other and become soulmates. That last part, however, comes later. Much, much later.
