Before he could register what he's doing, his hands reach out towards Welt’s face. Touching each of the man’s cheeks, as if cupping it. He continues to stare into those brown eyes, “I have the world in the palm of my hands…” and breathes out the words that have been bouncing in his mind, unaware that he had interrupted Welt’s focus.

It shouldn't be too hard, he tried convincing himself. It’s just following a set of instructions, he can do that.
He realized soon enough it is easier said than done.
So with him slumped on the floor of the kitchen car, cream and powder all over the surface, a few boxes of ingredients scattered here and there, and a failed creation splattered on the floor is something he'd describe as a nightmare.
This is the third cake he failed.

“That’s why I love you.” Welt whispered into the air. He turned to Sunday, that warm smile hadn't left his face. “Let’s get back to the surface, it’s getting late.”
And so they turned around, making their way back to Boulder Town. Along the way, he can’t help recalling the things they did tonight, thinking if he should record this in his journal.
The scenery they’ve seen, the snacks they ate, the discussion they had-
“That’s why I love you.”

Sunday tries to confess to Welt, only to be constantly interrupted by the other crew members. Just as he’s about to give up, Welt drop hints that he feels the same way.
