Después de que Ulises acusara a Brian de ser misógino en una discusión en vivo —y tuviera que tragarse sus palabras cuando toda la casa salió a defenderlo—, Santiago siente alivio de no estar metido en un qulimbo de la casa por una vez por todas. Pero, por alguna razón, no puede evitar acercarse a Ulises para decirle que lo que hizo solo termina quizás fortaleciendo a Brian en el afuera afuera y que realmente no entiende su juego. Ulises, con su actitud de siempre, le responde que no necesita consejos de alguien como él.
La tensión entre los dos crece cuando Santiago zafa de ser eliminado el próximo domingo. Mientras que Santiago insiste en buscar un mano a mano con el, Ulises empieza a darse cuenta de que su rival no se va a ir tan fácil y que seguir chocando con él solo lo perjudica, entonces decide cambiar sus tácticas.

“Y-Yeah, yes, I mean, I was the sperm donor,” Buck stammered out. “Sorry, what’s this about? And uh, why didn’t Connor and Kameron just give me a call?”
Due to his various horrible injuries and near death experiences over the years, Buck had become very adept at recognizing pity. So, when the familiar expression flashed across the woman’s face, alarm bells began going off in his head.
“Mr. Buckley-”
“Kinard,” Buck interrupted, trying to delay the bad news he knew was inevitably coming.
“Mr. Kinard, I’m from the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services. I’m very sorry to be the one to tell you this,” Sophie said gently before pausing, carefully considering her next words. “But Connor and Kameron McLain were killed in an accident two years ago.”
