The Meta had numerous bases dotted around the planet from their time with the A.I. conglomerate. The A.I. are now gone, but the hideouts are still useful to Agent Washington and the Meta while they pursue the remaining epsilon unit.
While the Meta is out, Washington gets to find out a little more about what they got up to when they weren't terrorising the remains of PFL or killing his friends.
