Summary
Hermione found out early that she was an omega. She kept it a secret from everyone until she couldn’t while on the run from Voldemort during Year 7 and told Ron & Harry. Now apart from “The Golden Trio”, she’s returning to Hogwarts with her goal of passing with the highest of marks and rebranding herself.
Draco’s first rut is brought on after a punch to the face by Hermione Granger herself. He returns to Hogwarts with a looming arranged engagement and working at rebranding himself as a model classmate and citizen. But his alpha hasn’t forgotten the scent of Hermione, even if he hasn’t caught it since. And now she’s in all his classes.
They’re both trying to move forward, to rebrand who they are. But some things don’t go quietly.
Something ancient stirs beneath the surface of their eighth year. A buried curse that is tied to the loss of omega lineage start to unravel. As truths come to light, and magic begins to shift, they find themselves not just drawn to each other, but bound by something bigger than either of them expected.

“Mione, what is it?” Her eyes wandered to Harry, who was sitting next to her. There was confusion in his eyes.
“Oh- it’s nothing. Malfoy and Theo were just staring at me.” Hermione whispered to himHermione saw that she had drawn blood. Harry grabbed a cloth and moved closer to Hermione.
“They’re still looking.” He whispered while he took the cloth and softly cleaned her lip from the blood that was still there.“Why did you do that?” Harry placed the cloth next to his plate and glanced at her.
“Look at them, Mione.” Harry said while glancing over at the other side.
Malfoy was gripping Theo to stop him from going to their table. Theo’s face was distorted into jealousy and a bit of anger towards Harry. Malfoy had the same expression but less angry and more jealous.--------
