"So, what's the magic?" An unknown feminine voice asks out loud just after the bell tingles, announcing her arrival.
Amity looks up, getting pulled out of her train of thought, and slowly blinks. "I'm sorry, what?"
A young, tanned girl with short chestnut hair and too much eyeliner grins awkwardly, standing right in front of her. She giggles in order to conceal her social anxiety and moves her hands as if she were performing some kind of magical ritual or jazz dance.
"The magic! You know, since... the shop's called... Flowers & Magic?"
"Oh!" The owner exclaims, feeling dumb all of a sudden. "Of course! Flowers & Magic!"

The man stares at the chocolate wrap laying on the floor, making Sasha shift her focus there, too. "I have food, an extra bed and a shower. And, speaking of that... Here you go, your face and hands are full of chocolate."
He pulls out a handkerchief from his pocket and hands it to her. She squints her eyes, suspicious, and slowly cleans herself, glancing at him all the time.
"How can I know that I can trust you?" She spits.
"You can't."

“No, I’m serious Marcy,” Sasha slams both of her hands down on the table, and finally Marcy looks up at her startled, eyes wide. “Anne loves you, I can tell. You just gotta seduce her a little bit to make her realize it. That faking a fall stuff is pretty good, but you need to go bigger. She likes the big gestures, you know?”
“Sash,” Marcy whispers, and for once, she looks confused, genuinely confused, like she doesn’t understand what Sasha’s telling her.
“It’s okay, Marce, this is… we want Anne, right? Then you have to convince her. Flirt with her, woo her, kiss her, whatever you gotta do to get her to realize she likes you.” Sasha’s rambling now, and she leans across the table, takes Marcy’s trembling hands in her own. “You’re smart, you’re cute as fuck, and Anne told me today she thinks you deserve to be spoiled. Spoiled! Like I don’t spoil you enough.”
