Summary
Kara Danvers is Supergirl.
Four words, that’s all they were. Four simple words, that’s all it took for Lena’s entire world to come crashing down around her. Boxes pushed so far back onto shelves inside her mind, long forgotten aches and pains that survived only inside the darkest parts of her memory had been completely shattered and brought to light as Lena had sobbed and pleaded to whichever deity was listening to turn back the clock, for this not to be her current reality, to make the pain go away and go back to how things were a mere few seconds before.

Summary
“Kara – what’s gotten into you –“ She gasps, but Kara is insistent. The Supergirl crest is hard against her chest, and Kara’s hands move under Lena’s thighs to pick her up into what she knows is one of her favourite positions. She doesn’t even have time to move her legs before the office door opens. There’s a strangled squeak from the doorway, and when Lena manages to disengage her lips to tell Jess that she’s busy, for god’s sake, she sees something that has her at a genuine loss for words.
Standing in the doorway is Kara, wearing the same slacks and sweatervest that she was wearing this morning, glasses on and holding a takeout bag in one hand.

Kara touches the harun-el. Lena has some ideas, most involving being the filling in a Kara sandwich. Kara and Supergirl conspire to make her dreams come true.

Kara’s ramble is cut off by soft, insistent lips, and the entire weight of Lena’s body being thrown into her arms.

Summary
The clack of Lena Luthor’s heels on the sidewalk seemed to reverberate throughout the whole city as she made her way down the street. Even after three years, despite the broken street lights hampering her vision, she knew exactly where the cracks in the concrete were. She knew which spots were uneven, places that she had to avoid to prevent her heel from buckling. She knew exactly which areas of the path tended to flood a little whenever it rained. She knew the flower vendor who would appear in the daytime on the corner. She still knew her order off by heart for the little hot dog stand by the traffic lights. She knew exactly how many steps there were between her old place and the NCU campus, and she knew where every single one of the coffee shops were on that route.
Lena knew this place like the back of her hand, but it didn’t know her. Not anymore.
