They gave each other a significant look, which irritated Molly, so she spat out, “Do you mind informing me of what is so obvious to you two?”
Mycroft ignored her question, but asked one of his own, “You have worn the same outfit since my brother came to you for help two days ago?”
“Yes, of course, when would I have had time to change?”
He seemed relieved, “Excellent, that changes everything. Then I propose my dear brother bites you on the neck.”

Summary
Rewrite of my 2017 fanfic under the same name on FF.net.
Sherlock has only just come back home from Sherrinford, and he is faced with the consequences of the call Eurus forced on him and Molly. As much as he wants to bury his head in the sand and forget about it, he knows that isn't possible. Not when Molly's heart is so thoroughly broken, and it's all his fault.

Summary
Molly had just received potentially life-changing news a few hours before Sherlock had turned it upside down (again!) with that fateful phone call. Now she must make nice with snotty relatives she never knew existed, find out why she was never introduced to her maternal grandmother, and wrap her head around the unexpected inheritance she received from the latter, a gift that might have just put her life in danger.
All this, and she still has to deal with a certain consulting detective, and the aftermath brought about by a few minutes' conversation and three simple words.

Post-Sherrinford, Molly realizes she needs space to let herself fall out of love with Sherlock Holmes, while the detective goes to work on uncovering his authentic self. Wrestling with guilt, Mycroft strives to be a better man, and John tries to move on from the loss of Mary.
