Summary
Zoro had always believed that a sword was honest. Not noble or sacred. Not any of the romantic nonsense people liked to attach to them.
A sword revealed exactly what its wielder was. A weak hand produced weak cuts. An uncertain heart created hesitation. A careless swordsman left flaws in every movement, every strike, every decision. Steel exposed every mistake without mercy.
That was why Zoro trusted swords more than people. People lied. People hid things. People pretended. A sword couldn't.
Maybe that was why Zoro couldn't stand careless people touching his swords.
Zoro frowned. That thought had come from nowhere. Or rather, from somewhere he preferred not to examine too closely.
With a sigh, he opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling of the Sunny. Somewhere above him, breakfast preparations had already begun. He could hear the distant sound of chopping.
For some reason, he found himself listening. Just for a moment. Before eventually muttering a curse, getting out of bed, and heading toward the kitchen without quite admitting—why.

"MARIMO! Stop throwing the damn customers into the fountain!"
"They're not customers!"
"They're standing directly outside my restaurant, you moss-headed bastard!"
"They came here to fight me!" Zoro shouted.
"They're going to eat afterward!"
"Not if they keep trying to stab me while I’m taking a nap!"
"They're future customers, you idiot! Put them down!"Bookmarked by mars_eline23

Summary
After his fifth night of restless tossing and turning, he decides to talk to Chopper about it.
“I’m what?”
“Touch starved.”
“What?”
Chopper sighs, “I said-”
“No, no I’m perfectly aware of what you said, but what do you mean?”
Chopper looks him in the eyes for a moment, as if discerning how best to explain this to Sanji without freaking him out.
OR: Sanji is touch-starved and is not equipped to handle it, especially when he starts craving touch from a very certain someone.

Summary
The cook was still there, just like he had been every night since Zoro moved in a week ago.
It shouldn’t have bothered him.
But it did.
Zoro had even seen him wobbling out of there past two in the morning, only to be back again early the next morning.
And tonight seemed to be especially bad.
Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Zoro grabbed a black marker he had used on the moving boxes, snatched up a notepad, and scribbled a quick message on it before stalking up to his window.
---
Or, Zoro moves in across Baratie and can't leave the exhausted cook alone, so he leaves him messages through the window.
