Gojo pursed his lips, struggling to maintain his composure. He couldn’t bring himself to reveal the darker truth—that in his timeline, Suguru had committed atrocities and ended up being used by a curse brain user. He swallowed hard, deciding to keep that part to himself for now.
“I can tell you for sure we aren’t dating in my timeline,” he said, attempting to crack a joke to lighten the mood.
Suguru raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “Is that so?”
