His petulance is adorable, and it’s that cuteness that makes Gunwook relax. Which is a mistake. His guard is down, so he’s defenceless when Matthew pulls out a box of pepero from behind his back and says, “Do you wanna practice with me?”
His vagueness is teasing, but not confusing. Gunwook understands it immediately, almost too quickly. His vision blurs. His mouth runs dry. His hearing gets muffled and foggy, like he’s low health in a video game. He feels like he’s at low health, like Matthew’s just bludgeoned him over the head and there aren’t any medpacks left on the map for him to use.

Ricky’s head inclines, lips dangerously close as he breathes the rest of the smoke onto Gyuvin’s tongue.
