'Fuck you!' Alex yells at Jason in his old man way, on the screen. Alex's cheeks burn at it. The audience goes mental. He sees Greg scrawl something on his card and wonders with a little thrill if he'll be in trouble later.
Greg passes Alex the card as the audience laughs and applauds.
We'll discuss this tomorrow. Alex reads. He hands the card back to Greg, who winks at him.

Nothing really changes between them, on the whole, other than Alex doesn't need to pine like some kind of ancient forest, and Greg can indulge his many and varied daydreams of taking Alex apart. It just becomes another scheduling thing in their calendars.
