Summary
After things calmed down from meeting her next self, Stella was offered the opportunity to travel elsewhere on Earth but wanted to ask the Doctor's opinion first. (She's been on one planet for a decade and hadn't set foot away from the British Isles, of course she's going to ask for his opinion.)
Travelling is obviously not a good idea for the Blonde, period, as there's 21 chapters in this story and the summary tells you absolutely nothing.

That stated? If you know of the Time Lady Stella whatsoever, you are well aware that she ends up meeting herself quite a lot. A future version of this story's Stella fulfills a specific promise given (see "A Quick Fix") and, because Time is a really horrid prankster, it doesn't exactly go as planned.
And, because Time is fickle, her newly regenerated future incarnation is the one who tells the Doctor everything she had been denying telling him about her personal history up to that point.
Time doesn't like her very much, apparently.

Summary
When you're dealing with Time Lords (and Ladies), you need to hope they don't mess about with their own pasts to create their personal futures... Or something like this might happen, including but not limited to 1) stale tea and crackers, 2) unintentional pregnancy, 3) your dad popping in at the worst possible moment and deciding he knows what's best for you.
