Summary
Eddie Munson and Steve Harrington were in love. They lived together with their best friend Robin for two years. When Robin told the couple that she was planning on moving to New York with her girlfriend and offered for the boys to join them, Steve was beyond ecstatic. Eddie was not. Two years of healthy, happy relationship were thrown out the window by pointless fighting, rash decisions, and underlying issues.
Eight months after the big breakup, Steve learns from his mother that his dad is dead. Steve has to return to Hawkins for the sake of his mom. He wrestles with the guilt of being back in the town where he broke Eddies heart.
Eddie lives alone with his cat, and is falling apart at the seams. He doesnt know what he wants from life or if he loves or hates his ex boyfriend. Eddie is busy trying to kick bad habits and fix himself on his own terms when the love of his life comes back to town to throw a wrench in it.
