Enid sucks in a tiny breath and pulls a pillow from her bed into her lap. “There’s a chance he might be doing that, Pugsley. Like,” she lowers her voice, “cutting.” She says it soft, and if Pugsley hadn’t been sitting so close to her he probably wouldn’t have understood.
What?
Why would Eugene do that to himself? What’s the point?

Summary
“Does it get better?” Evan asks, tearing off a piece of his pastry to eat. He’s at the cafe all of his friends love, nursing a cup of ‘too sweet’ coffee and a pastry. It’s not busy, which Evan is thankful for. He can’t think of much else than Barty. It’s all on his mind that Regulus even has to order his coffee for him, knowing Evan’s order at heart.
Regulus looks at him for a moment, taking a sip of his coffee. “Better? No. Easier to understand? A bit.”

Summary
When both of you have turned 18 you get put to a test with your soulmate. You have to watch them die. No matter how clear it is that they will live and wake up completely safe, it’s hard to watch your soulmate die.
If you try to help or try to save them you’ll both lose the memory of the other person, meaning you’re basically destined to never find your soulmate ever again.
James has always loved Regulus. When he realizes he has to watch him die, he can’t do it. He jumps in to save him. Maybe this time will be different. Maybe they’ll be the first to succeed.

“So you’re doing a quickie with Sirius?” James asks, sitting in the passenger seat of Remus’ car. They’re parked in a fast-food parking lot, both deciding to get food after rehearsal instead of going straight home.
Remus nearly chokes on a fry, “a what?”
James gives a smirk, indicating that he knows exactly what he just said. “You know, a quickie. A quick change. That’s what I call it when someone helps someone else with a quick change.”
“You’re disgusting.” Remus deadpans.

Remus has to help Sirius with a quick change during their fall musical. He already feels nervous by simply playing a love interest with his forever crush, Sirius. But now this? Remus can't mess this up, but when it's just the two of them in the wings he makes some interesting choices. It's all just for the act, right?
