After returning to England, the only thing left of Narnia was its memory and the shared longing to return, held most deeply by Lucy and Peter—the ones most affected by their return, the ones who refused to forget or "move on." At least, that’s how Lucy saw it until she began to lose Peter too, as he starts letting go of the dream just as Susan and Edmund already had.

Summary
There was nothing under Armand’s ribs, before. His heart, his lungs, the muscle and vital tissue that normally make up a body were, in him, composed of negative space. Formed of absence and defined by lack.
And then Daniel. Daniel, like a gas filling up his insides. Daniel, like the first kiss of sunshine after centuries without. Daniel, who turns all he touches into something precious and who is overwhelmed by a desperate need to touch.
Armand is selfish. He knows this and he always has. The sort of vile creature to find a fountain of youth and horde it in secrecy, to cling greedily to what few blessings he’s been given. With Daniel, it is no different; why should it be? Why should Armand not steal each and every touch for himself when Daniel offers them so eagerly?
