Summary
Ray was always meant for more than this small town and the simple life it held, at least that's what she was told constantly. So she left her small hometown of Grapeseed to be the assistant to her best friend, popstar April Fooze. Going to new cities, meeting new people, and experiencing everything she thought she wanted. But when her family's farm is at risk of being sold to a big oil company called Chang Gang, she will have to face all the memories and people she left behind. She will have to admit everything that has been eating her inside since the day she left.
Jay was always running away from the shadows of the past that haunted him, but you can only run so far in a small town where everything reminds you of her. Jay could have been so much more. He was one of the best all around cowboys in Grapeseed but after that fateful night everything changed. Now with the one place that he called home on the line he will not be able to hide away from the shadows for long. Especially when she tramples back into his life and his heart again.
