Damian’s family are pestering him to be more of a normal teenager. He doesn’t want to be more of a normal teenager. The average teens he observes at school are brainless savages. But his family is getting so annoying about it he’d do almost anything to get them to shut up.
Then Marinette Dupain-Cheng transfers to his school. She’s intelligent, quiet, respectful of his boundaries— generally acceptable.
His family want normal teen behavior? Fine. He’ll bring a girlfriend home.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
Marinette blinks. Ya know what? This might as well happen.
“Sure.”
Daminette as told through equally socially unaware messes, general misunderstandings of each other's skill and experience, and a total lack of awareness as to how many flowers are too many flowers.

I awoke to the dark. This was not necessarily a new phenomenon for me, but I’d sort of expected the journey getting here to have been less fucking weird.
As I idly catalogued my location as best I could in near-total darkness (standing upright, in a box, with a door that didn’t move at a light push), I tried to remember the fragments of the trippy dream sequence I’d just been subjected to. There had been… a mirror? A floating, glowing, flaming mirror with a pale-skinned hand reaching out of it? And I’d been compelled to take that hand (to never let it go), and it had drawn me gently into the mirror alongside the sound of hooves on pavement and the creaking of wood.
…had the mirror called me a beautiful flower of evil?

Summary
Twisted Wonderland was as scary as it was wondrous and you had no idea how to keep up with everything. You were, in all honesty, struggling to keep your head above water, not that you were going to tell anyone as much, because if you started talking you were probably going to start crying as well.
It was fine, you told yourself. Everything was just fine. And then you got turned into a cat, courtesy of a botched potion and Leona of all people was there to catch you.
