    He agreed for a lot of things, things that take years off his life. He did however, not agree to somehow take care of four teens with severe issues.

    Especially the one who causes him the most trouble, The very same one who got turned into a baby because he was reckless.

His spidey sense was relentless, it was like he could hear it yelling in his ear “GET OUT OF HERE DANGER DANGER.” Miles leaned his head into his palm and closed his eyes, but that seemed to make it worse. His head felt like it was filled with wet tissues. Miles had tried to talk to a therapist at the Spider Society about this, but his words fell flat the second he sat down on the couch. It's hard to talk to someone about your issues when the person you're talking to was hired by the guy you’re terrified of.”

    Worse? Miles thinks dimly. How? How could this be worse?

    And yet, watching those claws sink into metal, shaking with fury? Feeling blood trickle down his suit, staining the lab’s pristine floor?

    He knows exactly how it could be worse.
