Cypher’s used to nightmares; the kinds that leave you unable to breathe once woken up, body trembling and muscles tense. Unable to speak, move, able to do nothing but lay in his bed, wishing he could just melt into his mattress and disappear, hoping his blankets will swallow him whole.

With more confidence than he felt, Yoru smirked at his tense lover, licking his lips in a way which he knew would set Chamber’s bloodstream alight with a burning, searing heat. Provoking his lover when his control was already balanced on a knife’s edge was perhaps suicidal, especially if he wanted to walk tomorrow on his own two feet, but Yoru had always been one for taking big risks and reaping larger rewards. He knew it was working when the white-knuckled hold around his waist became bruising in force, enough to leave a clear handprint against the sensitive skin.
Just one more push then. Yoru laughed, sultry and seductive as he turned around to peck at the corner of Chamber’s mouth. He could practically taste his lover’s lust on his lips, like an aphrodisiac pulling Yoru further into the depths of depravity. “I can handle everything you give me. But can you handle me, amour?”

“Yoru, I just want to confirm, you were not on base last night, were you?” Sage queried before Yoru could even finish his sentence, voice pitched slightly higher in what sounded like thinly concealed panic. His frown deepened.
“No, I was away on a trip, remember? But what happened last night?”
He could hear Sage’s shaky inhale even through the phone before she responded. “This is the situation. As you may recall, last night, all the agents were gathered for a team bonding night.” Yoru nodded slowly, vaguely recalling that he’d planned his trip with the express purpose of avoiding the tedious party night. “I have reason to believe that the drinks may have been spiked with something.”
