Silence lay over the old, proud houses of Grimmauld Place. People were either away over the school holidays, or inside avoiding the heat. The only people left outdoors were a couple - the man tall, the woman pink-haired - who were standing in the park opposite Number 12, throwing sticks to a pair of large black dogs.
