He looked at Sirius sharply, and for once, matched his grin. “Yeah.”
“Maybe that’s my excuse then,” Sirius said. “I cause a bit of chaos now, and maybe one day, it’ll turn into rock and roll.”After losing his mother at age eleven, Remus has spent the better part of the last four years bouncing from school to school or else running around London and pretending as though he wasn't the kind of well-bred boy his father brought him up to be. Now, with his chances all run out, Remus is sent to Hawkings Independent School as a last-ditch effort to clean up his act. There he meets the very people who will set up the rest of his life, and is forced to confront the pieces of himself he'd long thought had been lost.

She hadn’t been his Padawan for long, but the majority of their ‘bonding’ had been arguments or banter. As fond as she was of their steadily strengthening dynamic, she couldn’t help but wonder if Obi-Wan had been kinder to Anakin during their apprenticeship than Anakin was to her.
There was a crunch as Anakin sat on the dead leaves beside her. Ahsoka could already picture his face, hear the lecture about how this is their job and they should really get going soon-
“What’s wrong?” Anakin asked, voice surprisingly gentle.

James stomps up the stairs to the tower and, when he’s there, he pops through the trapdoor like a little groundhog and suddenly feels much better, despite the fact that he hates this room and everything that has ever happened in here.
He takes a deep breath of sage-scented air, drapes his elbows over the hardwood floor, and sings, “Helllooo, Professor Vablatsky!” He is privy to a sudden smack on the arse. “Hey!” he cries, covering the accosted appendage with both palms. He peers back down the hole and sees Sirius’s hand raised, head tilted back to look consideringly up at James.
“Solid bounce,” Sirius says. “Very nice follow through.”
