Summary
When idealistic journalism student Andrea Sachs accepts an internship to profile the elusive editor-in-chief of Runway, she expects sharp lines, guarded answers, and maybe a quote or two worth publishing. What she doesn't expect is Miranda Priestly—enigmatic, elegant, and emotionally impenetrable, taking a dangerous interest in her.
What begins as a curious interview soon unravels into a complex power play, where control, vulnerability, and desire collide in unexpected ways. But Miranda isn’t just a powerful woman with secrets, she’s a fortress with a past. And Andrea, with her bright eyes and unshakable sincerity, is the first person to ever see her without armor.
As boundaries blur and a contract becomes something far more intimate, Andrea is drawn into Miranda’s world of rules, restraint, and whispered undoing. But there is no safe word for love—and neither of them is ready for what it means to surrender.
