Vanitas swallowed hard. “That’s—” He tried to scoff, to sound unaffected, but his voice betrayed him, rasping and weak. “That’s enough, Noé.”
Noé didn’t move.
He was still too close, still watching him too carefully. And then, slowly, he reached out, fingers curling around Vanitas’ wrist.
Vanitas should have pulled away. Should have said something sharp and cruel to put space between them.
But he didn’t.
Instead, he let Noé’s grip tighten, let himself be drawn back in as Noé shifted closer, his breath warm against Vanitas’ lips. His heart slammed against his ribs, every nerve in his body screaming at him to run—because this was dangerous.
This was something he couldn’t take back.

Summary
Chuuya is scrabbling frantically at Mori's hands around his throat, his eyes wide. His body glows a faint red, fizzles out like a cough.
"You can't even use your powers when you're like this, can you, Chuuya-kun?"
"Mori, he is hurt." Dazai's voice rasps with controlled anger.
Mori ignores him. "I can't tell where Dazai's plan begins and your stupidity ends, but regardless, such information should have never come out of that mouth of yours. What did you think? That such treachery will be forgiven and you will be made an exception? By the rules of the mafia, you are a traitor."

When one of Dazai's plans go too far, it inadvertently leads to Chuuya's death sentence. While in the dungeon cellars together facing the consequences, Dazai takes care of Chuuya and tries to save him.

Summary
He was on the brink of asking if Dazai was alright when he heard the first groan. It was muffled as if there was a genuine attempt to keep it from reaching Chuuya’s ear, a futile endeavor as they were literally laying a hairbreadth apart, but it was unmistakably a moan.
The sexual kind, Chuuya realized with ever-growing mortification as the sound of a zipper being slowly pulled down breached through the rapid thundering of his heart in his ears, and his eyes popped wide open for the second time in the past ten minutes as his brain finally put all the puzzle pieces together.
“What the fuck, Dazai?! Are you jerking off?”
There was no answer for a second, no movement either before Dazai started to talk, voice heavy with guilty embarrassment. “I can’t sleep when I’m hard.”
Or: pm!skk get stranded on a mission, there is only one bed, and Chuuya offers a helping hand to Dazai, just like good partners do.

Summary
“Don’t hang up” Kouyou’s voice sounds through the call, cold and bitter.
Dazai blinks, shoulders relaxing slightly because he’d been expecting Mori.
“Now, that’s funny” Dazai grits against the receiver “Bye, Ane-san”
“It’s Chuuya” she says, and while her voice is even, there’s a sharp kind of desperation in it, so much of it that he feels himself freezing.
Dazai does not hang up.Or, Dazai made sure Mori would know that using Chuuya to get him to come back wouldn’t work. He lied about it with a bomb, loud and clear. He just didn’t expect Chuuya to end up believing it too.
Or alternatively, the one in which Chuuya uses Corruption during Dazai’s defection and Dazai comes back for him.Bookmarked by messymama
