Summary
Piers Nivans is good at many things, given that he is a perfectionist; a personality trait he had developed under the command of Chris Redfield, who had been his Captain at the time while they were in the army. He was his A.T.L. and always made sure to follow his commands down to the T. He was the type of soldier who was loyal, followed every instruction his Captain gave him, carried out every order, command, anything that Chris wanted.
However, there were times where Piers was hesitant to follow orders. There were many times where, if his Captain had just given him the command, he would pull the trigger with no hesitation and kill the first enemy unlucky enough to enter the sniper's scoped line of fire, but Chris had sometimes opted for him to stand down and do nothing but wait, even if the shot was clean. Still, Piers carried out orders, and he and Chris got along perfectly, and Chris was always proud of him.
The one thing it took for Piers to go from perfect soldier to imperfect soldier, was the mere fact that he took one look at his former Captain, and thought that Life would be easier with Chris.
