Summary
As the ship sealed shut behind her, there were thousands of scenarios playing out in her mind. Was this ship really her family, or was it another phantom memory, a hopeless dream? Did her family ever exist at all, or were they, too, figments drawn up by the violent nightmares of which her life now consisted. She prepared for a fight, or at least some heartbreaking vision as per usual. What she didn’t expect was her entire world to suddenly be drowned in a cold wave of darkness.
