The last thing Nero needed was another stupid demon crisis. Especially not one where his stoic, battle-hardened father had been reduced to a ten-year-old version of himself.

He had already come to terms with the fact that his father wouldn’t show up for his birthday. Truthfully, he’d resigned himself to the familiar sting of disappointment. But when Vergil did arrive, Nero wasn’t even remotely prepared for the gift he brought with him. Not by a long shot.
