She snatched the papers away from the stunned girl in front of her, cramming them into her own book bag. "I don't plan to put up with any more of your awfulness, starting today," she exclaimed with a proud look, though not very visible in the dimly lit closet. Nikki grabbed the door handle and attempted to turn it, but it stopped. She twisted and turned for what seemed like forever before realizing she had locked her and the girl who hates her guts in a cramped supplies closet.
Nikki subconsciously pinched her temple: of course, the day she finally decides to stand up to Mackenzie she goes and does the one of the dorkiest things imaginable.

Summary
Five years after they sailed away from Syrup Village in the Going Merry, they return, Luffy bearing the title of King of the Pirates and Usopp bearing a sort of bravery he's never carried before.
All that courage, though, pales when he tries to speak to Kaya, after so much has changed between them, and after Usopp has found the love he longed for in Sanji, their tentative relationship still hiding half in secret.
Nami eases his fears, and when it's over, she soothes Kaya too; but you can't repress your longing forever.
