One month ago, if you had asked Will Byers what he’d do if Mike Wheeler threaded his fingers through his hair, looked him dead in the eyes, and started leaning in for a kiss, he wouldn’t have said this.
He wouldn’t have said he’d be staring right back into those yawning dark eyes, one hand on Mike’s waist, the other against his cheek. There wouldn’t have been any lightning in his veins or blood rushing in his ears.
He wouldn’t have said that Mike Wheeler would be tilting his head in the opposite direction, eyes widening just the slightest as if asking permission, his mouth slightly parted.
He wouldn’t have imagined it at all.

Since Cali, since Rink o Mania, since the painting. Will Byers misses his friend group and longtime ‘crush’ (if you could even still call it that) Mike.
Mike Wheeler, on the other hand, along with missing the way things used to be, is faced with his own struggles with ‘new’ (a year and a half old) feelings for his best friend, Will.
Their friend group consisted of them, Mike’s girlfriend (ex-girlfriend?) whose name was a number, the living embodiment of a helicopter hat, a basketball playing nerd, and Mr. Basketball’s girlfriend, currently in a coma. And now a new story is unfolding for them and Mike and Will are forced to confront their feelings for one another.
But hey, no one said going crazy was all that fun.
Combine an artist, a writer, an ex-lab-experiment, a science nerd, a jock in training and a possessed girl in a wheelchair with a really confusing spring break and a considerable amount of the Feels™️…
What could possibly go wrong?*im only 13 but I swear this is pretty good give it a shot please please please*
